Calypso is a ring woven from the tragic love story of Davy Jones and the sea goddess Calypso. When Jones gave her his heart, Calypso promised to wait, allowing him to set foot on land once every ten years to reunite with the one he loved. She entrusted him with Pietersite – the “storm stone” – as a token of their eternal bond. But when the fateful day came, Calypso did not keep her promise. Jones waited in vain, and in his despair, he tore out his own heart and became the cursed captain of the Flying Dutchman.
